LEVYdance Summer Intensive 2010
LEVYdance is happy to announce their 5th annual Summer Intensive, to be held from June 28 to July 2, 2010, 10am-3:30pm, daily. Each day will begin with technique class focusing on momentum, grounded attack, and isolation of joints. The day will continue with explorations of weight manipulation, falling off balance, performance presence, and professional development. Each participant will have the opportunity to source original movement and discover a personal approach to creation. Tuition is $350. Please register early, no later than May 30, space is limited!

LEVYdance recruiting a Flash Mob for ONSITE Performances
Intimate Visibility is a collision of new media, dance, and flash mob. Created by LEVYdance and commissioned by Dancers' Group as part of the ONSITE series, Intimate Visibility explores human connection in an age of cyber communication. These events will spontaneous occur in several high traffic public areas in San Francisco, engaging a flash mob, projected animation, and dance. For more information, please visit Dancer's Group.

Perform with us
LEVYdance is looking for 30-40 dancers and an additional 40-70 community members who are interested in participating in "Intimate Visibility" as a flash mob. In four rehearsals, you will learn short pieces of choreography and movement games for a ten minute piece that will be performed twice a night for six evenings, March 17-26.
